It All Begins With Attention

It All Begins With Attention

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that you should “build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door”.

That’s not true … especially today.

Do the best artists sell the most paintings? Do the best musicians sell the most albums?

Of course not.

Being the best at something is irrelevant unless the world knows you are the best and wants what you can provide.

That is where marketing comes in. Usually the best selling products are those with the best marketing, not the ones that are most effective or get the best results.

It is the same with your online business. It doesn’t matter how good your product is, unless you can get that message in front of people who care. You need ATTENTION.

Being able to get the attention of a group of potential customers is the most valuable commodity in the world right now.

Facebook has the attention of billions of people and is a very valuable company. Google is the de facto place where everyone goes to lookup information, so it has lots of attention and lots of power. Online influencers, like celebrities, can get the attention of millions of people, so they make lots of money.

Attention is where it is at!

If you are not getting the results you want from your online business, then it is probably because you are not getting the attention of enough potential customers. Most businesses die of obscurity.

It doesn’t have to be that way, if you recognize that your primary job is to get more attention on the things you promote. Until you have learned how to get attention, then nothing else matters.

In the online world, attention is measured in quality website visitors. How much traffic can you generate to the website where you hope to capture leads or make sales? You need to drive traffic from interested people to the pages that will convert them into a subscriber or customer.

The amount of traffic you can generate is your “Traffic Firehose”. Some people are only generating a trickle of traffic. Others have a full on flood of traffic in their Traffic Firehose.

I use the analogy of a firehose because you should use your Traffic Firehose just like the fire department when responding to a house fire. They pull out the firehose and start dumping water on whatever areas are hottest. Your Traffic Firehose allows you to direct attention to whatever offers are hottest!

This means that you should be directing all your traffic (attention) to the pages which are generating the best conversions. You want every drop of traffic in your Firehose to get results. Aiming a firehose where there is no fire is just a waste of water. You don’t want to waste your traffic by sending it to pages that are not converting.

The key to success in your online business is building the most powerful Traffic Firehose possible, and then pointing that firehose at the hottest offers that get you referrals, subscribers, and sales.

It’s simple, not rocket science.

For the month of March, I am giving away traffic to help fill your Traffic Firehose. It is called March Traffic Madness. 700 people have joined the giveaway in under 48 hours.

Every day, I give each member $5 to $20 worth of free traffic which they can use to promote anything they want. For more information click here: https://trimurl.co/AW3
