DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:
Kauffman Saddlery Co. of Manhattan sold “Correct riding apparel for all occasions”, including “Formal Hunt Attire - Informal Hunt Attire - Formal Riding Apparel - informal Riding Attire - Laddies Apparel”. They offered boots, riding coats, breeches and jodhpurs, riding jewelry, imported saddles, jumping saddles, brushes & curry combs, bridles, western outfits, halters, clippers, girths, riding crops, soaps & medicines, “polo requisites”, waistcoats, gloves, hats, and more! There are also helpful hints and tips on riding, jumping, horsemanship, and generally fitting in or at least not getting unceremoniously dumped by your mount in front of the rest of the hunt club.
Paper covers. 6”x9”, 18 pages, black & white illustrations. Minor soil, some wear, rumpled along the top, covers slightly separating at the top and bottom of the spine, short rip in the upper edge.
