    The Herbalist Almanac
    1936
    This is the 1936 edition of an annual almanac of natural and holistic health remedies. It measures 5.5 x 8.25 inches in size, and is 64 pages plus 6 nice color plates of medicinal plants. It has an attractive cover with a design of Indians displaying herbs in a council amid teepees.
    The booklet was printed on fairly cheap quality of pulp paper and most copies of this publication are usually found in rough shape, but this one is in very fine condition, with scarcely any signs of wear. Besides the standard type of calendar and weather information found in most farmer’s almanacs, this one is mainly devoted to advice on raising and using herbs, along with pages of testimonials from readers who have benefited from the practice of herbalism.
    A separate blank order form that accompanied the 1936 Almanac will also be included.
