1897 Public Ledger Almanac, Childs & Drexel Publishers, Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Publisher: George William Childs, The Public Ledger Press, Philadelphia, PA. 95 pages. The Public Ledger Newspaper was founded in 1836. but was bought out in 1864, during the Civil War. Eventually it became one of the most influential journals in the country. The almanac was provided free of cost to subscribers, and inside one might find ads and government and public information about Philadelphia as well as sports statistics. It is in good condition, but has wear to the cover and spine. The covers have surface damage, and a bit of soiling. But the interior pages are clean and in good shape with very little damage, and no tears. Please see the photos above for confirm the condition.

It is a soft cover booklet and it has a color cover.  It measures  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (21.6 cm X 14 cm.)
with 24 numbered pages.
The cook book has about 130 carefully recipes.
Recipes are included for a large assortment of meats, roasted, broiled and fried.  It also includes vegetables, gravies, dumplings, sauces and garnishes
, Biscuits, Muffins and Pancakes and waffles.
This interesting "Meat & Veggie
Cookbook" is in very good condition.  There is a bit of soiling on the front and back
cover and the interior pages have minor wear.  The interior pages are yellowed, but otherwise clean
with very little damage, and no tears.

Very seldom a package will get "stuck" in customs for as much as
a month

We mail all packages in a timely manner. But a
delivery time can not be guaranteed, since the delivery is accomplished through the postal services of two countries, AND the package must be inspected by your country's Customs Department, before being delivered to you.
