    Offering a
1960's CALRAD 500C "Pill" Microphone, upgraded, working with desk stand
. (These same mics were also released under the Calrad & Aiwa brand, among many other names.) This one is in good physical shape
, completely cleaned, some very mild wear, and has been sonically upgraded. The original dead crystal pickup has been removed and
a high-fidelity SM58 equivalent capsule has been installed providing strong output
. Thumbscrews hold the tilt firmly on the original support yoke, has been well cleaned, and
hardwired to a 6 foot cable with a 1/4" male phono
    plug
. (We can swap for an
    XLR male phono plug
    if you prefer.) Style-wise, t
hese mics mimic the larger brother
    RCA 77, and are now
highly sought after and prized by vintage mic collectors and ad photographers for their stunningly iconic looks. We have added that
RCA style band around the center
to help the look. Mic is in g
ood shape top to bottom, and best of all has improved sound with strong output, plus
    includes the adjustable-height desk stand.
..overall height from 13-17"---final photo shows desk stand fully extended. **Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.
