NEXT DAY Shipping is something no one else offers and even though the competition has reduced their prices, some even doubled their content due to this AMAZING LISTING, this PDM set is still the least expensive HI-QUALITY & LONG-LASTING option available today. You'll also notice as you view other listings for these belts, how they've blatantly copied much of our (copyrighted) content... (some have even included (copied) parts of our detailed instructions as well ! )... so the truth really is exactly as that old saying goes... the sincerest form of flattery is copying from this great listing and trying to duplicate this outstanding PDM package, which is exclusively available only here !
I often have a few other Riso items available, check my other listings for exit belt sets, stripper pads and the last package that includes exit belt sets, two stripper pads and feed tires. If you're looking for anything special, contact me and if I don't have it I can probably locate it and will make listing
for you
.
So here's the straight stuff...
OK, so you've no doubt seen others listing of nearly identical kits. First, they blatantly copied our tech's instructions and even went so far as to copy the images we first supplied. Some of the images you see in their listings were actually taken from one of our original listings right here years ago.
I can only guess it's because they're not really smart enough to do their own leg work, take decent pictures or even write their own listing and installation details? Eventually
they doubled the amount of belts in an effort to matched this listing, then tried to fool you by tripling the number of belts they originally offered... while at the same time cutting their price well below the cost of decent quality belts in a desperate attempt to make a buck
(all those efforts failed)
.
But the reality is simple, quality actually does cost money! So the only way to offer you more for less, is by cutting corners to deliver an inferior product. The reason they're selling you multiples is most likely because you'll need to replace theirs that much sooner. Don't believe it? Well take just a few minutes to read through those remaining listings very carefully... and when you compare it to this one, the original, you'll notice how much they've copied - almost verbatim - directly from this listing. Sure they changed a few words here and there, but could never hide the glaring similarities and were so lazy they certainly didn't do much else... HA! Go ahead, make a game of it! I dare you to read and compare any listing to this one. They either say nothing at all or notice how much is actually the same and how very little is truly their own work...
But back to the realities. If this listing caught your eye, chances are your RP Duplicator has already experienced some sort of master removal or disposal issues. These are usually caused by the failure of one or more master disposal transfer belts. Fact is after one belt fails the others will soon fail and the moment that happens, well then your equipment will no longer be able to strip a master or print your next project and that's when your equipment stops earning you money ! As work starts piling up all too soon customers will start calling to find out where the heck their projects are !
The PDM-3008 kit you will receive directly replaces Risograph part numbers 628-21521-004 and 628-20900-001, and these after market replacement belts are made of a far more durable special rubber composition than OEM belts.

Remember that no matter what anyone claims, the sad truth is that ALL master disposal belts are under attack from the very first moment they come into contact with the chemicals in duplicator inks when that very first master was removed. Why? Because they come in contact with the inked side of every master
and every time a master is removed they
are once again smeared with ink exposing them to a host of solvents that will begin to erode the integrity of any and all rubber parts these solvents come into contact with. That's why they're called 'solvents.' Then with each and every master disposal cycle, every one of these belts is exposed to a fresh smear of all those nasty solvents, and it happens over and over until one fails !
It's an unavoidable but seldom mentioned reality, and once a belt has been exposed to these chemicals even if the machine is carefully stored or
unused for a while
, the harsh solvents and chemicals already smeared on these belts will continue eating away at their structural integrity.
After-market inks,
although they print just well most of the time, usually include an even more powerful batch of solvents and often in greater concentrations than OEM inks, so for this reason they tend to eat up belts just a little quicker.
Now keep in mind that's not good or bad, but it is a fact of life. So it's just common sense that any belt smeared with harsh solvents will deteriorate over time with or without use. Unfortunately as expensive as OEM belts are,
due to the type of material they’re made of,
they do tend to deteriorate rather quickly. Turns out they're simply not all that resistant to the solvents constantly eroding them so even though they're from the original manufacturer, like all master disposal belts they will become brittle and fail within a relatively short time.
The PDM-3008 Upgraded Disposal Belt Kit was specifically developed for use in the RP series of digital duplicators by a certified Riso Field Technician. Composed of the highest grade material available today (superior specs than OEM belts), these direct replacements for the entire Series of RP Digital Duplicators (and any others using the same Riso part numbers), are far more resistant to erosion by the solvents they routinely encounter, they're also more abrasion resistant and rated at over double the tensile strength of OEM belts. So their long-term performance in this application exceeds anything else available today! Spare E-clips are also included with every kit, just in case one or two manage a successful escape to parts unknown.
Even so, it’s the concisely written PDM instructions and clear illustrations that make this kit the best package available anywhere today. The instruction sheets include a wealth of tricks & tips that can only be learned after years of on-the-job experience and were written by the factory trained field technician who developed this package. Each hint and every tip will help you accomplish the task at hand safely and easily.
Is it Difficult?
Well it does take some degree of manual dexterity to successfully replace these belts. Anyone advising you otherwise is being less than honest about it. If, after reading over the instructions you don't feel comfortable attempting this type of replacement yourself, then you should employ the skills of someone who is. But the truth is, most duplicator owners are more than competent and won’t find the replacements difficult to accomplish.
How long will it take?
YES! It’s true that you can successfully install this kit in less than half an hour using nothing more than a small screwdriver. But accomplishing that requires a level of expertise, dexterity and intimate familiarity with the inner workings of your duplicator. Something most owners and users simply do not posses to the degree necessary. Yet with these concise PDM instructions and a little attention to detail, almost anyone can quickly service these belts and get their equipment functioning once again.
Yet in the end, it's really important to re
member replacing these belts is not about how fast you can get it done, after all speed has little to do with it ! It's really about replacing defective belts and getting your duplicator back into service once again. But keep in mind that only a little extra time and effort is actually needed to extend your duplicators up-time, and keeping it running trouble free for as long as possible is the real goal - so your equipment can continue serving your needs without interruption!
Now do keep in mind the time needed to complete this project is a combination of experience, manual dexterity, familiarity with the equipment and having clearly detailed and illustrated printed instructions right there in front of you -- which carefully and clearly explain every step as these professional instruction sheets do. Combined with your ability to understand and faithfully follow those instructions, this repair will move along swiftly. (keep in mind that while some sellers offer quickie solutions and whiz-bang videos, it's downright difficult if not impossible to watch a video or page through a website with ink on your hands, and that's especially true while you're working deep inside your duplicator)
The PDM-3008 expanded 4-page instruction sheet goes anywhere you need it to be, and all four pages of it are designed to safely guide you through the process with plenty of helpful hints along the way.
Choose your own replacement path...
1 - Quick & Dirty Method:
If you have enough experience and are good at this kind of thing, if you’re familiar with disassembling & reassembling complex equipment and choose not to clean the attending parts then just replacing the belts themselves can be accomplished in about 20+ minutes or so, using nothing more than a small flat screwdriver.
But be forewarned! If you’re not highly skilled, doing any job in this quick & dirty fashion can all too easily cause more problems than you started with! Any unexpected problems that arise, or even a minor issue that crops up from quick fixes can suddenly transform this ‘little’ job into a messy nightmare that seems like it will never end!
2 - Professional Method: If you have reasonable manual dexterity, the ability to follow the included detailed, illustrated instructions and plan to take advantage of the complete installation and cleanup instructions (which entail nothing more than a few extra minutes at the notated steps to carefully clean the ink smeared components which by the way, you will have already disassembled to install the new upgraded belt set), this project could take up to an hour or more - but usually much less.
Believe me, having the few recommended common hand tools on hand clearly listed in the instructions will go a long way to making this project one heck of a lot easier (and less messy) to complete as well.
So what’s the big deal about cleaning? Why would cleaning the master disposal components be important anyway? And should I really bother with all that extra messy work when I just want the darn thing working again?
Well the choice is yours of course, but keep this in mind. The condition of each component in the master removal/disposal area has an impact upon proper master removal and handling, as well as how long your equipment remains trouble-free and in operation to generate income. It's simple ! The cleaner these components are the longer your equipment will continue to provide the kind of trouble-free service every duplicator owner really wants.
And the thing is, all those components you'll clean need to come apart in order to replace the belts anyway! So really, it just makes good sense to keep your duplicator running trouble-free as long as possible, and it's so darn easy to accomplish that by simply investing what amounts to only a few extra minutes as you preform these few tiny steps of what is really preventative maintenance -- especially since you have everything apart anyway. They're all simple tasks and darn
easy to accomplish.
As you already know, ink gets everywhere in the master disposal area and dries to a sticky, gooey, tar-like consistency that’s just waiting around to gum up the works and is sure to cause you more problems at the first opportunity. So
it seems like a no-brainier to
take a few extra minutes and clean all those now easily accessible parts, preventing the eventual problems associated with ink buildup and those mysterious master disposal jams. The plain fact is, sooner or later each area you don't clean will come back to cause you problems, that is unless you invest those few moments and address them now. Besides, clean machines always seems to work better and isn’t that what you really want?
And please, don’t be taken in by blanket ‘guarantees’ for belts that only serve to inflate the selling price. After all, nothing lasts forever and any belt in regular service exposed to these harsh chemicals WILL eventually fail. That's why the PDM kits provide a complete repair set as well as a complete spare set! Next time this happens you won't be caught without a set of belts and instructions on hand.
The plain fact is these PDM-3008 Upgraded Disposal Double Belt Kits simply outperform anything else available today. You won’t find any fancy or misleading promises or guarantees here just the truth, great pricing and quick US delivery via FIRST CLASS US MAIL ! International buyers please message me first before purchasing.
AND REMEMBER! ! ! ! You’re not just getting a single kit, you’re getting TWO complete Kits with EVERY PURCHASE ! ! !
