    DALTON INSTRUCTION BOOK, c1920
    Dalton Instruction Book.  Fifth edition.  Norwood, Cincinnati, OH: The Dalton Adding Machine Company.  No date given but c1920s or possibly earlier. "Showing and describing the wonderful touch method of operation which is not possible on any other adding machine." The Dalton Company was the first to offer a ten-key machine, and it was one of the most popular in the day.  The company was founded in 1903 by James L. Dalton, at one point was a M business.  It was purchased by Remington in 1926.
    Softcover booklet, staple bound, 6.25x9 inches. 35 pages, with embossed titles in red on the front.  Numerous color and black and white illustrations of the machinery, some charts. Very good condition with name of former owner on the first endpaper.
