This
1940's
mic is identical to the ever more rare Shure model M1, the company's first cardioid single element mic released in 1939...this 730 model is circa 1940's. The all aluminum brushed finish is
in excellent condition
with just the mildest signs of use...no dings or pitting. The
Shure badge is nice and sharp
, the threads are good and the pivot joint holds firmly. The windscreen cloth is perfect, the mic is overall very clean, and
tests with strong full-fidelity output
