Description
Offering aSuper-Rare
SHURE M1 CARDIOID UNIPLEX MICROPHONE, working with desk stand and cable.
This
1940's
mic is identical to the more common Shure model 730, the company's first cardioid single element mic released in 1939.. (This is the first "M1" version of this mic I have ever come across, and also the only one ever seen according to a Shure archives manager.) The all aluminum brushed finish is
in quite nice condition
with just some mild surface pitting on the upper cage, but overall very presentable. The Shure badge is intact and clear, the threads are good and the pivot joint holds firmly. The windscreen cloth is intact, clean, and in good shape as are the mic threads. Testing produces strong clean audio.
This sale includes
a new heavy-based and adjustable-height desk stand
,
plus a new 3 foot Amphenol connector cable
with male XLR plug on the opposing end. (We can swap the XLR for a 1/4" male phono plug if you prefer.) Overall height from 12-17".
Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.
