The original VOX Continental, a transistor organ introduced in the 1960s, was loved by many top players as "a practical keyboard for band keyboardists to use in live performances. Now, a completely new keyboard that carries that concept into the modern age is once again being born under the VOX brand.
The VOX Continental features a simple and intuitive interface that provides quick access to each function. The high-quality sound source section, featuring an organ, electric piano, and acoustic piano, is loaded with a wide variety of sounds that can only be used in live performances. The instrument also features a powerful effects section and valve drive using the new Nutube vacuum tube. The VOX organ is suitable for live performance in a wide variety of genres, including rock, pop, and jazz.

The VOX Continental features an intuitive interface focused on stage playability, with quick front-panel access to all functions.
Four independent parts - ORGAN, E.PIANO, PIANO, and KEY/LAYER - are instantly switched on, off, and layered in an easy-to-understand panel layout. Scene memory for instant recall of program and effect settings. A touch sensor controls the organ drawbar and various other parameters. All of these features are designed for the keyboardist who plays on stage every day.
High-quality sound for live performances with four tone parts
The VOX Continental, with its large memory capacity of approximately 10 GB, contains 150 programs carefully selected for live performance, ranging from high-quality PCM sound sources that produce the finest sounds to highly sophisticated modeling instruments for vintage sounds.
ORGAN part with elaborate modeling of three vintage organs
The ORGAN part features three different sound engines. The transistor organ sound source VOX perfectly recreates the very original VOX Continental sound from the 1960s. COMPACT, also a transistor organ source, recreates in great detail the small organs of the same era as the VOX Continental. The CX-3 tonewheel organ source faithfully models the famous Korg combo organ of yesteryear. These organ tones can be freely controlled for harmony and tone with the revolutionary touch drawbar.
The VOX and CX-3 organs also feature a percussion attack on the CX-3 and a MTB (multi-tone booster) on the COMPACT that can produce sweet, mellow sounds to unique, sharp tones. The CX-3 also features a MTB (multi-tone booster) that can be used to create sweet, mellow sounds or unique, sharp sounds.
All three also feature vibrato/chorus and rotary speaker simulation, which can be quickly turned on and off with a single touch. Even vintage effects are covered at the voicing level, allowing you to fully enjoy the thrill of playing the organ.

In addition to the vintage electric piano modeling of TINE, which is a metal bar that is struck to produce a sound, and REED, which is a diaphragm piano, three types of FM electric pianos that represent the sound of the 80's are available. Realistically reproduced amp and cabinet modeling and carefully sampled FM with rich overtones provide a high-quality electric piano sound.

Intuitive and powerful effects specialized for live performance
Just like the tone section, the effect section for live performance has been designed to be as intuitive as the tone section. It features 6 powerful effect types (CHORUS, PHASER, FLANGER, COMP, DRIVE, and WAH), 4 types of DELAY, 5 types of REVERB, and EQ, each with independent knobs and switches for quick and versatile sound control.
Authentic valve sound with the new Nutube vacuum tube
An overwhelming presence with the added warmth of a vacuum tube. The valve drive of Korg's new Nutube tube produces rich overtones, smooth distortion, and a fat sound with a sense of density that cannot be achieved with modeling. Drive nuances can be intuitively controlled while playing with a dedicated switch and knob. The light emitted by the Nutube circuitry visually appeals to the audience.
