Triptii Dimri lists her dream roles at India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024

Actor Triptii Dimri talked about her dream roles and the biopics she’d love to play at the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024 on September 25. She spoke at a session titled, “Struggles to Stardom: The Untold Story of My Bollywood Breakthrough”. She also spoke about the love she has received from the audience for her role in Animal, among others.
She said, “I would love to portray a mythological character. The Palace of Illusions is one of my favourite books. It is written from the point of view of Draupadi in Mahabharata. If something like that comes my way, then I would love to do it. I’m also drawn to biopics of iconic actresses – I’m a huge fan of Jaya Bachchan, Madhubala and Meena Kumari.”

Triptii also stated that she was unprepared for the overwhelming love coming her way.
“Honestly, I was not prepared for it. I was used to the life I was living, and it took me a while to understand what was happening. The love you get from your fans is a special feeling,” she added.
Speaking about portraying the role of Zoya in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, she remarked, “For me, I don’t like staying in my comfort zone. With Bulbbul and Qala, I found that comfort, and while I love drama, being on those sets always energised me. However, when Animal came along, I found it truly challenging. As an actor, it’s important to take on something that pushes you.”
She then continued, “Every time I get a role, I feel like it’s both scary and challenging. That’s exactly how I felt when Sandeep sir explained Zoya’s character to me. She seemed both brave and innocent at the same time, and that excited me. I’m always looking for roles that offer something different.”
On the work front, Triptii Dimri was last seen in Bad Newz. Next, she has Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Dhadak 2 in the pipeline.
