Kamehameha Hwy. reopens after truck loses load in Windward Oahu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A crash in Windward Oahu shut down Kamehameha Highway in both directions for several hours Friday.
It happened at around 10:30 a.m. near Crouching Lion.
Images from the scene show a flat bed truck transporting heavy machinery had lost its load near a turn in the roadway.
No word on any injuries.
Kamehameha Highway is a two-lane road in the area. The incident caused traffic to back up in both directions.
The highway was reopened at around 1:30 p.m. after crews cleared the road.
